Bossov Ballet Theatre's Summer Intensive program concludes with full-length performances of the classic ballet Giselle. Giselle has been called "the Hamlet of ballet": time-honored, classic, but never the same twice.

The ballet tells the story of a lovely peasant girl named Giselle who has a passion for dancing. She falls in love with the Duke, who is already engaged to someone else. She is heartbroken and the Duke is remorseful. But before he can make amends, the girl dies of a broken heart. Now in the form of a ghost, Giselle must come to the rescue of the mortal Duke and show indeed that love conquers all.
