Book by Mel Brooks & Thomas Meehan
Music and Lyrics by Mel Brooks
Directed by Debra Susi
Sponsored by Maine Technology Group
This laugh-out-loud musical is based on Mel Brooks’ classic cult comedy film. A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his nervous accountant scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers out of millions of dollars. The antics of Max and Leo as they maneuver their way through finding a show (the gloriously offensive “Springtime for Hitler”), hiring a director, and raising the money is a lesson in comedy and friendship. This show is rated PG-13 for profanity.
