You can help the Waterville Opera House and Waterville Creates win $25,000 to support free live music in Waterville!

Waterville Rocks!, a free, family-friendly outdoor summer concert series in Castonguay Square, is in the running for a $25,000 Levitt AMP grant to expand from a 4-week series to a 10-weekseries next summer. Designed to provide free cultural community programming and offer a new way to animate downtown, Waterville Rocks! has been warmly received over the past two years and now needs your help to rock the vote as the Top 25 grant finalists will be selected through online public voting. The Levitt Foundation will then review the proposals of these 25 finalists and will select up to 15 winners, to be announced on January 2, 2018.

The Levitt AMP [Your City] Grant Awards are a matching grant opportunity designed to serve small to mid-sized towns/cities with populations up to 400,000. A successful campaign for Waterville Rocks! depends on community participation to get as many online votes as possible to bring the concert series to town. Community support, as measured by the number of online votes received, will be one of the key factors when the Levitt Foundation selects up to 15 winners. Because many cities vying for the grant have much larger populations than Waterville, it’s important that we get as many votes as possible – voters can only vote once!

Please visit to register and vote – the ability to do this via Facebook makes voting easy! Online public voting opens on November 1 and ends November 20 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The Top 25 finalists will be selected through online public voting.

We thank you for your continued support of the arts here in Waterville!
